Curious behavior of Windows 7 Photo Viewer.

I view hundreds of photos using Windows 7 Photo Viewer.

This I do by using the keyboard left and right arrow keys.

Often the this stalls in that continued pressing of the arrow keys
nothing happens and I am reduced to using the mouse to click on the
arrow buttons at the bottom of Photo Viewer's screen. After doing
this once I can go back to the keyboard arrow keys, but this soon
stalls again.

Is this a bug; because it never happened with XP?

Sorry,, no answer, but I seem to have the same problem. I just tried it
now and can't seem to make it happen on demand. I even tried right
arrow super fast, which in the past, seems to do it, but not this time.
I'll keep reading to see if someone comes up with an answer.

Well, I just reproduced the problem and found out why it is happening,
at least in my case. Apparently, while hitting the right and left arrow
keys, I fat fingered the down arrow. Windows 7 Photo Viewer then seems
to lock out all further keyboard commands. Once you use the mouse to
advance, the arrows again work.

Thanks, I'll check this out. I have one of those hair-trigger
keyboards where the slightest brush will set off a key.
