SOLVED Catalyst Install Manager failed

Have you tried using Windows Update instead, just to see if that works for you instead?

You're sure having a lot of issues with this driver install. Have you tried pointing the video adapter in the Device Manager with Driver Update to the ATI folder in the "C" drive? It has worked in the past doing it that way. Try it and see what happens.

I just fixed the issue now! :)

But the catalyst is still a problem.. But whatever.. It's only causing problems xD

WOW what the hell! Somehow after fixing this http://oi47.tinypic.com/saywps.jpg issue Catalyst Control Center works now! :O

YES MY PROBLEM IS SOLVED!

I wouldn't have done it without you guys! :) Thanks so much! :D

I am happy that it is working.

So to re-cap.

  • Uninstall AMD drivers
  • Reboot
  • Re-install through device manager
  • Reboot
  • Re-install Catalyst Control Center
  • Reboot
  • System re-detects driver??
  • CCC (Catalyst Control Center) now works.
Do you think that was the sequence?
