Hello!

I have spent the better half of an hour on the Web to see if could find software to automatically replace corrupt Win 7 system files (Help does not work). Can't find any (techrepublic the exception, but I do not want to buy yet).

Using my install disk does not work (get the message that my installation is newer than what the Install disk can provide).

I think I remember that MS provides a way to check for corrupt system files, but I can, for the life of me, not remember what it is. Is there a way?

Thanks,

Yes, but it could not repair some files, and all of the attempted repairs had to do with "speech", so I am not sure that they had anything to do with Help.
