I've downloaded the image for Home Premium x64 eng twice now and both times I am unable to boot from the burned image. I use imgburn at 4x plus verify. When Im in a windows environment I can start the autoplay on the disc and it will start the install process but if I reboot and have the computer try to boot off the disc after I get the "press any key to boot from DVD" the next messages come up saying that windows is unable to start and to use my system disc. 'Continue' is my only option and when I select it the computer restarts.

Bret, I've moved you issue to its' own thread.

Did you download SP-1 or SP-1 (U) Media Refresh Edition?

If you did not get the Media Refresh Edition HERE, then please try getting that version. Approximately 1 in 10,000 computers do not work with the original SP-1.

If that doesn't solve the problem please answer the following:
What OS is currently installed on the computer?
are you sure it supports 64-bit?
Can you boot successfully from the DVD to the installation menu in another computer?
What is the make/model of your computer?
