I know there is a virtual PC in Win 7 (64 bit) that emulates 32 bit XP but I'm not sure it can handle this old 16 bit app.

I can run this old app on a computer running XP Home with no problems.

Won't work in Win7 64bit. 64bit does 't support 16bit apps.

As you said, there is Virtual PC. That should do the trick, as Win XP does support 16bit.
By the way, welcome to the forums!

In 64bit the ONLY way you can run 16-bit code is in Virtual. Win 7 Pro & Ultimate offer Virtual PC / licensed XP mode as a free download and it should do what you need.

There are also other Virtual engines available but you will need an XP license.

P.S. There are no YOUNG 16-bit apps - LOL

Hi jserrat

I have two 16-bit games loaded in XP Mode on Windows 7 Pro 64-bit and they work just fine, so you should have no problem if you opt for XP Mode.

You might also try an application called DOSBox.
