Hi Everyone,

Please give me solution for my problem as my laptop take 5-6 minutes for booting & later application freezes for 1 minute.

Windows 7 Home Premium - service pack 1 (7 month old laptop)
Samsung NP300E5A-S01UK Core i-5 Processor, 2.5GHz, 6 GB RAM, 64 bit OS
C Drive - 122 GB free of 176 GB D Drive - 198 free of 265 GB
Had samsung recovery solution & samsung software update programs which used to come up after startup. surprisingly there was no option for this 2 programs in msconfig, startup section and used to come up after every startup. So I uninstalled it later.
No option is selected in msconfig, startup section.
all junk files & temp file cleared using Ccleaner & Glary utilities, also disk is fragmented using Diskeeper 2011
NO virus, malware, spyware present as I have checked my PC with Norton 360, webroot secure anywhere & SpyBot search & destroy
After checking for virus I have un-installed all antivirus, right now I don't have any anti-virus so there is no point that antivirus is increasing boot time.

So please let me know is there anything other I can do so I can improve the boot time as earlier my boot time was less than 1 minute.

I would suggest you download all of the latest drivers from your laptop manufacturer for your specific laptop and see if that helps.

You might also schedule a chkdsk scan on your C drive to have it verify file integrity. .You can do this by right-clicking the C drive in your My Computer view, selecting "properties", going to the Tools tab, and clicking on the check-now button. It will then require a restart to run.
