W7 online update made ALL display far too small to see, including, system tray, taskbar and even control panel. I have gone to Start>Control Panel>Display and set size to 150% and still things are way too small to see.
And my desktop icons appearance is changed and reorganized every time I logon.
It was fine before the last automatic update

Open your Windows update, in there their is the option to view recent updates or the updates install list. Open that and you should be able to uninstall the last update. Sounds like maybe it installed video card drivers, maybe it installed the wrong ones.

You should set updates to manual so you can look at what gets installed. Update every two weeks or so manually. Never download video drivers from Microsoft as these tend to have a way of messing up a system

Visit the maker of your graphics solution website for the latest driver and install.
Either ATI, NVIDIA, Intel or Matrox, depending on your card.
