Asus x58L

Hi on the Asus X58L laptop, i have windows 7 on and in device manager, under other devices..... i have 3 drivers missing on base system device.
Now these drivers may be may for memory card??? if so can anyone help me to find these drivers please?

You should probably try installing & running the ASUS Live update utility V3.0.6 to see if it can install the missing drivers.

You're Welcome. Please let us know if it resolves the missing drivers.

If you have USB devices (printers, NIC cards, etc) they would not come from ASUS. For those you need to visit the equipment manufacturers' websites.

hi i downloaded the program when i am installing it, it says sorry this program only supports for asus notebook????
mine is asus x58L...

There is an older version 3.0.3 >>HERE<< that you could try.

Otherwise your best option might be to contact ASUS support.

I'm afraid I don't have any better ideas since the download website doesn't show actual drivers.

hi if you still want to fix base system go to asus support site.
search w5000 series
then pick w5fe model
look for ricoh reader then download it
you have to extract files then run
after this you will be fixed

you must install the atk/acpi package before installing live update...

also this never helped me as I also still have 2 Base system devices under the hardware management with exclamation marks....
