I have some contacts in the datacenter industry that tell me Windows 7 has advanced to the 7100 series of builds. Generally a version jump of this magnitude (changing the second digit) indicates a new code milestone.

Take a look at Vista milestones:
Community Technology Preview (5200 series)
CTP Refresh (5300 series)
RC1 (5400 series)
RC1 (5600 series)

I have confirmation from several authorities that this build exists.

I think you are correct. I'm hearing that internal and private testers have build 7105. I think they have declared RC Escrow. I would guess we will see some bits in the next or so (officially and/or leaks).

That's it. See my thread for a bigger picture. Not noticed any network fixes...But then again, I never encountered any problems.

Run box -> msconfig -> tools tab -> "about Windows" -> launch
