Hi,
I have an old Windows 7 laptop that I was trying to reset to factory settings. The battery is weak, so I had it plugged in during the reset. However, the power went out for a couple of hours, causing the computer to shut down in the middle of the reset process. Now when I turn it on, the system won't boot properly. The loading circle keeps spinning, eventually leading to a blank screen. I realize the system is likely corrupt now. Is there any way to restart the reset process?
Thanks.
