Widows 7 64 bit

I bought 12 GB of memory when I bought my computer and then found out
it doesn't use that much because it is the 32 bit version and not 64
bit. Is there an upgrade or do I have to buy a complete new OS to
have Windows 7 64 bit?
My Toshiba laptop came with both 32 Bit and 64 Bit versions of Win 7
Pro. I jsut picked the 64 bit virgin when I set it up initially. Maybe
you can so a factory rebuild if you have the otiginal factory image?
Check with your computer maker on your make and model. Also I tihought
all retail versions of Win 7 came in both 64 bit and 32 bit versions in
the same box (separate discs) - as what I got with my other computer on
a Win 7 home upgrade (from XP).
