Why doesn't Google Groups add this alt.windows7.general?

Why doesn't Google Groups add this alt.windows7.general? I miss going
back and looking for old posts.

So do I -- and not just in alt.windows7.general but in every other
newsgroup. Google's ongoing war on Usenet, which has long manifested
itself in incomplete search results, has escalated into denying all
searches unless you use Javascript.

It is also useful to use Google
Groups when the computer I access Usenet is down.

Yes, if you want a lot of people to miss what you write because we
block Google Groups.

And when one of their members replied, it didn't appear
on USENET either. Looks like a poorly maintained newssync
setup.

But I bet they're careful to make sure the advertising
money still comes in. The "important" functions, get the
most maintenance.

I don't like web forums, but I REALLY don't like web forums that steal
content from Usenet.

It's quite annoying to do a google search and run across something I
"wrote" in some Web forum when in fact I actually posted it to
Usenet.
