Parental Controls

Laptop running windows 7. Admin account password protected. As a single
user device I decided to remove password. Now, when it starts up/restarts I
get a "Windows Parental Controls" window appears with the following
text................

"One or more Administrative accounts have no password. Administrative
accounts with no passwords allow anyone to bypass or turn off parental
controls. Click here to ensure passwords on these accounts"

I click account icon and then get a further "Parental Controls" windows with
the message "Parental controls cannot be applied to your own account <name>
because it is an administrator. Do you want to create a standard user
account and apply parental controls to it?"

I don't want to create another account but just wish to run my own account
without using a password to access on start up. How do I remove/disable
the annoying parental control message that appears on start up ??

Appreciate help.

Update:-

In my frustration, I decided to "create a standard user account and apply
parental controls to it". On restart I had the choice of my admin account
or the newly created standard account. I chose my admin account and when
loaded went to control panel/user accounts and deleted newly created
account. Lo and behold, on restart, straight to desktop and no more
annoying parental control message !?! Maybe this action will be useful to
others

Well done. There's good initiative and gumption in what you did.
That's MS for you! Not always fully tested!!

I always create a password for any account, and I always tell Windows to
start up without requiring me to enter the password.

If you regularly switch accounts, you might not like that, because you
do have to enter the password when you switch to a different user
account.
