Have been a member of the WINDOWS forums in the past ...then went to the fruit side then came back and now I am on the NUT& fruit side .
I have a sweet old neighbor (84 yrs young) who wants to keep in better touch with her grand children and great grand children.
SHE hates texting.
A friend gave her a Sony Vaio Windows 7 laptop with a bad hdd in it. I bought her a new drive and installed it. The only Windows
7 INSTALL DISK I had was an old Enterprise version. I have the original OEM number of the bottom of the unit and I want to format the new
hdd.
I have used "Tiny" easY format , "Rufus" and was getting ready to use Partition Wizard but "myfunzarelow" after purchasing the
new drive for her. I NEED SUMMIN TO FORMAT AND INSTALL AN OS.
So I guess what I need is a qet to format her hard drive and install a new OS (Win7 or newer. Any help would be greatly appreciated
