If you have special buttons on your keyboard, like mail or volume controls, then I wouldn't disable this one because it is likely what makes them function.

Quite right TM, I slipped into personal mode. That's why I'd separated them from the main group which could be stopped. I suppose I should have clarified the fact that you may use them, whereas I don't.
