nfs undercover sans connetcion

Hi.
Im trying to play NFS Undercover, but every time I try to play, a dos looking box opens, it tells me I dont have an internet connection, and closes.
I have a pc for Gaming and one for Internet, and I dont like connecting my gaming pc to the net, it it possible do play without having to go through this internet registration??

From what I can tell about the game, the makers want to verify you have a valid purchased version and the connection would be needed just for the verify. After that, the internet should not be needed unless you wish to play online.
