My C Drive is Running Out of Space

My C drive is completely filled up. When I selected all the files and checked their properties, it showed only 35 GB, and I couldn't view the hidden files either. However, the C drive indicates that all 165 GB is used. I'm using an old laptop with Windows 7, and some third-party cleaning tools don't work on it. I'm inexperienced with this, so I'm unsure how to resolve it. I'd appreciate guidance on how to free up space :)
