    Hi there.
I've been trying to find a way to move a program/icon from my taskbar to the system tray.

I'm running Windowsmedia Encoder alot and I want it to go to the system tray when minimized. I've seen software you can buy that helps you out but those have been for older OS.

    Thanks.

Minimizing to system tray is usually an application setting that not all applications are programmed to do. If the option to minimize to system tray is not in the application settings, your only option then would be to use third party software if they exist. I am not aware of any such software unfortunately.
