Going off on a tangent, I see you're using Micro Planet Gravity newsreader.
I've noticed that when people using Gravity post a reply to someone, the post
has the 'From' name missing, making it difficult to see to whom they are
replying to.
If you look at this thread when I reply to you 'Jason' is quoted at the top but when
you reply to me 'Dave-UK' is missing.
Of course, it may not bother you, but I think it's just a setting somewhere if you
want to change the default behaviour. :)
Thanks for noticing that, Dave. (I obviously haven't yet found the
setting...). I'll keep looking

After reading this thread, I went and found it sine I'm also using
Gravity. I've now got mine set to:

On %d, "%n" <%a> wrote in article %i...

Which produces the citation like you see at the beginning of my post.
