How do I copy my downloads to a usb and then to a new computer? I did it a long time ago and didn't think it was a big deal. But for some reason I cant get it to work now. Seems like I just went to my downloads and went to copy, then opened the usb and then hit paste, then insert the usb in my new computer and hit copy, then paste from usb to downloads. What am I doing wrong.

What is the file extension? If it is a .exe or other type executable program then your system may be preventing it from being copied to "protect" you from possible outside threats. If you are confident it is safe then find it on your computer using Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer) and right-click on the filename. Choose rename & give it a different file extension like .cpy . See if it copies now. Once you get it to the new computer, rename it back.
