Up until the past week I've had three computers networked using Ethernet hardwire cabling, where the hub / modem had a built-in hardware firewall. In that setup, I was fine with the Windows firewall. Now my computers are networked using 2.4 GHz wireless Group N.
My question is this: do I need a "stronger", more "robust" firewall than Windows own firewall, as I no longer have the hardware firewall? If I do need something "better", any recommendations? I currently use Panda Antivirus free, and I'm content using that as my antivirus even though it doesn't come with a free firewall. I also use and do Beta testing for Zemana's AntiMalware and Anti-keylogger software.
