Hello Everyone......
I am trying to download FarCry 1 onto a Dell XPS 430 pc with a 64 bit. When I insert Disc 1 into the pc it stops and sends a pop up box saying I need to clarify whether this system is running 32 bit or 64 bit. I'm not sure how I get past this road block. If anyone knows what steps I need to do to get this game to download.....I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks so much.

Is this message during the installation of FarCry, or once you try to run the game? Also, when you say that a popup box asks you to clarify if the system is 32 or 64 bit, are there any options to click on?

It may be worth downloading and applying the latest patch if this is once the game has already been installed:

Just to update, I've done some more googling and found that you may need to run the setup64.exe file (if this exists) on the DVD.

There is also some information about a x64 patch on this page:

Hopefully someone else on the forum will have this game and may be able to offer some more advice based on their experience.
