Hi,

I recently downloaded a trial version of IBM SPSS version 22. Unfortunately this completely messed around with everything on my computer including windows updates etc.
I am know trying to delete it from programs in control panel and when I click uninstall a message comes up saying
"the feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.
Click ok to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package "IBM SPSS Statistics 22.msi" in the box below"

I have tried looking up the IBM instructions to remove this and they say to delete it from this folder:
C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\IBM\SPSS\Statistics\<version>
which I cant find on my system.

I have also tried using command prompt to remove it using this command:
MsiExec.exe /X{104875A1-D083-4A34-BC4F-3F635B7F8EF7} /qn /L*v logfile.txt
ALLUSERS=1 REMOVE="ALL"
which didn't work.

I just want to remove any trace of any version of this SPSS program and never have anything to do with it again.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

You can't find what? The folder or the file? Did you enable View Hidden Files and System Folders in Folder options?

You may need to boot into safe mode to avoid the network resource error.
