my wife's acer laptop sees available wi-fi networks but when you choose one for a connection, nothing happens. rather than asking for a security key or remembering a previous network connection, nothing happens. i took the laptop to another area thinking it might be the home router, but various coffee shops and other networks that require a wpa2 key did the same thing...no connection, no error message, nothing. i deleted previous remembered networks thinking maybe it was maxed out, i unclicked the connect automatically box also and still nothing.
