The ram test thing isnt working. I ran the program. but the files on a USB. Tried it plenty of times, went to my BIOS and it was fine. but the ram check never started running....

Apart from making sure all your drivers have been updated, you need to get Memtest86+ to run to check your ram.

Delete the three .dmp files from your C:\Windows\Minidump folder so you start afresh with them.

how come im always having to uninstal antivirus programs ? It seems like every single one is the cause of my bluescreens.
Anyways, MSE wont work for me. I get error codes when i try to install it.

This crash indeed was caused by Avast:

Whenever Avast causes a blue screen, it does not exclude hardware issues alongside.

Uninstall Avast and update drivers, then see how it goes.

sorry for not replying for so long. the thing is i took out one of my RAM sticks and i stopped getting BSODs. then i put it in and i got a BSOD. so ive been leaving it out, and i havent had a BSOD for 5 days.

but just now in the middle of an SC2 game.
i got a BSOD "irql_not_equal_or_less" and at the bottom said something like
"rasynapse.sys"? i cant remember but..
i guess im back for more help if i can get it.
or do yu think my other memory stick is a dud too, since they are the same type and age ?
