SOLVED Browser or programs only open once

Spoke too soon. Haven't been shutting down at night. Came back to desk this morning and "PC Unleashed" had done a scan. I hit "fix all" and it specified a reboot for completion. Did that and then tried to go about my business. Nothing would open. I went to the task manager and ended some processes, including Firefox. I then shut down completely, restarted and here I am. I've disabled the auto scan for PC Unleashed.

My personal advice is get rid of PC unleashed. Replace with Microsoft Security Essentials
Use the Windows firewall.
Only use CCleaner for clearing the crap from your pc, but even then be careful when using the registry cleaner.
