Help!
I was under the impression that Windows 7 has a feature, Homegroup Networking, that allows one to network 2 or more computers in the home without extra equipment.

My dear friend, disagrees. He states:
WHEN I CLICK HOME GROUP THERE IS NO OPTION TO JOIN A HOME GROUP. MY COMPUTER CANNOT PICK UP YOUR HOME GROUP BECAUSE IT IS NOT ACCESSIBLE VIA THE WIFI. WE’VE GONE THROUGH THIS AT LEAST TWICE BEFORE. YET YOU KEEP SENDING ME INSTRUCTIONS THAT CANNOT BE FOLLOWED, ARE USELESS AND A WASTE OF TIME>

I KEEP TELLING YOU THAT YOU MUST HAVE A WIFI ADAPTOR ON YOUR COMPUTER, OR CONNECT TO THE QWEST MODEN INSTEAD OF THE TMOBILE MODEM. THEN< AND ONLY THEN< WILL WE BE ABLE TO USE THE HOME GROUP CONNECTION THROUGH WINDOWS 7.

Can anyone provide any advice <aside from to hang myself>?

Hi Steven & welcome to the forum. Can you give more specifics of your hardware and what version of windows 7 you are using. That might help.
