Used to be a pro translator half a century ago which might explain my
being so fussy with words!--

PS. What have I done?! Now everybody knows I am no spring chicken!
I don't know - you look pretty young (at least in spirit) to me...

I've always been fussy with words, but as you can see, it doesn't keep
me from a certain lack of precision on occasion :)

I'm looking for additional wallpapers for Win7. What would be a good
source to look into for wallpapers - the current wallpapers on my
system are in the .jpg format for Dell computer.

I use electric sheep (electricsheep.org) as my screensaver. What I can
(and do) do with this is set it to automatically save screenshots of the
beautiful patterns it generates from the screen saver and use those as
my desktop background (DTB - aka wallpaper), and have the DTB change
every 30 mins. Looks great for me and my DTB never gets boring.

You can even set it to a slideshow, of your own or the provided
pictures. Though when I tried to play with it, I found it an absolute
pig to set up, compared to the third-party and ancient "panorama32"
wallpaper changer I'd been using since at least Windows 9x (which I
think wouldn't run under 7).
Windows XP PowerToys has a wallpaper changer - it'll change your
wallpaper with a configurable delay from 15 min to a week. You just
point it at a folder of pictures you want to use. I should think that
would work under 7, but haven't tried it.
