I have several VCF files collected from different sources, and the contact list has many repeated names, phone numbers, and email addresses. Built-in merge options may work for a small list, but this backup is too large to check manually. I need a Windows-based way to scan multiple vCard files together, remove duplicates carefully, and keep a backup before saving the cleaned contacts.

On Windows, the quickest way depends on how many VCF files you have.

If there are only a few contacts, you can import the file into Google Contacts or Windows users and use the built-in “merge duplicates” option. It works fine for small lists.

But when VCF files are large or coming from different sources, manual checking or built-in options take a lot of time and may miss some duplicates.
