To remove duplicate emails from a PST file is to use Outlook’s built-in cleanup options for a small mailbox. The problem is that they are not always convenient when the PST contains thousands of duplicates spread across many folders.
I had this issue with an old PST archive after combining mailboxes. Instead of checking duplicate messages manually, I used Softaken Split PST Pro because it includes a duplicate email removal option along with PST management features. I could scan the PST and clean repeated messages before working with the archive further.
