I have an extra hard drive that I would like to install, unfortunately I have run out of sata connections. Looking around in my junk I found a Promise TX2 plus Sata 150 card, I have a vacant slot for it, but I can't seem to get the thing working and the drivers seem very hard to find. (Win 7 Ultimate 64bits)
Any suggestions would be most welcome.

Try this link for Legacy Download Center. Although it doesn't look as if there is support for 64-bit.

Which chipset does the card have? Another card with the same chipset might could be used, if it has 64-bit drivers.

Edit:
New cards are not terribly expensive and would also be better cards.

Thanks for the advice, I'll go for a new card the next time I'm in Norway.
