More like a solution search of your (generic your) dollars.

As I said and you clipped, I didn't buy it.

Whenever I see statements like this, I wonder why people don't give
some details. In what way does it suck? What makes your favorite
one better?

Without that information, one is just blowing off steam, which is not
likely to have much of a positive outcome.
I'm about results, I'm not going to write a dissertation between the 3rd
party apps and M$'s one that doesn't work well enough.

I gave an alternative to diskmgmt.msc that all the MS-boobs were simply
not offering. Maybe you should explain that before defending MS's
horrible, half-ass tool.

<Inserts tongue in cheek> First, they defend diskmgmt.msc because of
FUD. Because the third party tool isn't part of Windows, it's possibly
going to do horrible things to your HD. The Windows tool, on the other
hand is guaranteed bug free, and does all that any sane user would
require. I see that all the MS tool names conform to the 8.3 filename
convention, too, which may tell you how far back in history they go.
<Puts tongue back in normal position>

Meanwhile, in the real world...

EaseUS partition manager is good, as are many other free partition
managers. GParted live CD is excellent for resizing partitions without
damage, and doesn't require you to install anything.

But then they may not get to retain the all so self-important title of
MVP. You can't go around recommending better tools, and expect that -
eh?

Lol... exactly.
