macrium reflect vs Paragon Backup 10

I think it does.

Also, you can schedule Macrium (paid version) to run a backup with settings
to wake the computer from sleep (*not* from off!) and to shut it down at
the end. On the nights when I wish to back up, I plug the drive in and
sleep the computer instead of powering down.

I had some trouble with that, and ended up having to modify the scripts or
XML files it generates (I did both). For example, I added a command to run
a Nirsoft utility to turn off the screen, since my computer is too close to
where I sleep :)
Thanks. Good idea.

I have used both Macrium and Paragon. Iiked Paragon better because it seemed
to me to have more easy to access options

Just wanted to add that I was considering both the paid and free
versions, including Acronis True Image which I have used for years with XP.
Is it true that Macrium is faster than Acronis?
Macrium paid version has incremental backup like Acronis. Free version does not. Macrium is pretty quick at the default compression level. If you need a higher compression level to save space for instance, then it slows down some.
I haven't used Paragon in a couple of years.
Another free alternative is Easeus Todo.

I've used Acronis TI (several versions) and Macrium Reflect Free. My opinions is Reflect Free (or paid if you need more features).

Acronis rarely fixes fundamental problems of its programs, but instead sells you a new version every year. To be fair, I got an upgrade for free once, after their tech support failed to solve my problems after numerous exchanges of emails.

Moreover, Reflect is faster and easier to work with. TrueImage is ridden with useless features (for me at least).

Just my 2 cents.
