LCD Monitor question

Both PC and LCD monitor have a VGA & DVI port.
LCD did not come with a DVI cable.

For every day use (not watching movies) is there pretty much no difference in the quality of image on the screen with VGA vs DVI?

You won't notice a huge difference, but it would be better to use the DVI setup.

I notice the text is a little crisper and stuff like that. You can get a fairly inexpensive DVI cable for around $10-15 dollars, Some places like eBay have them for less than $10 with free shipping.

ahh, thanks. I'll go purchase one (cable).
I did notice that Clear Type setting off looks better. Odd as on the older LCD I had Clear Type made the fonts look better.
