is this program safe to use ?

I wouldn't touch it.

When you are curious about software such as this, simply type "reviews jv16 powertools" into a search engine and read the results. I generally rely heavier on the negs then the positives because those are the ones that tell you how it screwed up their machine.

I love this one: "this software is GREAT for rendering a Windows system useless and SLOWER-- so send it to your enemies!". :lol:

I wouldn't download anything from CNET anyway. I have heard CNET as well as many others will bundle their own software within the installation packages of free-ware.

I don't know about JV16 but I can see tragedy happening to anyone that downloads from a third party vendor where they package their own software within every download.

Thanks for this info i will give it a miss.I only use ccleaner and that is the only program i trust.
