Installing SDD - advice please

know when to admit defeat and turn it over to someone else.


Yeah, but this being Usenet, you can only delete your local copy. Everyone
else is still free to do as they please. :)

I wold have clean-installed Windows 7/8 to the SSD and if the system booted
to it at startup, restored a system image to the SSD. Win7 is programmed to
use a SSD optimally, so I wouldn't use Windows XP or Vista with a SSD.

Thanks. That might have been a better approach but all's well that
ends well, as the saying goes.
