I exported my contacts from iCloud as a VCF (vCard) file, but I need them in CSV format for importing into another application.

I'm looking for a reliable way to convert the file without losing any contact information like names, phone numbers, email addresses, notes, addresses, profile photos, or custom fields.

Has anyone done this successfully? Are there any trustworthy tools (free or paid) or methods you'd recommend? I'd also appreciate any tips on avoiding formatting issues or data loss during the conversion process.

Thanks in advance!

If you export contacts from iCloud, they are usually downloaded as a VCF (vCard), which keeps all this information in one place. The only problem is that this format is not ideal if you want to work with it as a spreadsheet.

During the migration of the data from VCF to CSV, some approaches might transfer the basic information, such as the name and the phone number, while the email ID, address or company name might be ignored.

What helped me was using a converter that reads the full vCard structure before exporting it to CSV. When I moved my iCloud address book to a spreadsheet, I tried WholeClear VCF to CSV Converter. It loaded the VCF file, showed every contact field in a table preview, and then exported everything to CSV without dropping information. That way, the contacts stayed complete and organized.
