I have one oversized vCard file with hundreds of contacts, and it is hard to import or manage. I want to split this large VCF file into smaller VCF files without losing names, phone numbers, email IDs, addresses, images, or other saved details.

Yes, large VCF files can be split on Windows, but first keep a backup copy of the original vCard file. That way, the main contact file stays safe if anything goes wrong.

Best way to split large VCF files

If the file has only a few contacts, try importing it into a contacts app and exporting selected contacts in smaller groups. This works, but it becomes slow when the VCF file has hundreds of contacts.
For a large vCard file, I would suggest using ViceVersa Split and Merge vCard Software. It is made to split oversized VCF files into smaller contact files while keeping saved details like names, phone numbers, email IDs, addresses, images, and descriptions.

Few Simple steps
  1. Add the large VCF file
  2. Choose the split option
  3. Preview the contacts
  4. Select the output folder
  5. Start splitting
Final tip: Test the demo on a few contacts first, then process the full VCF file.
