Our IT department is currently working on centralizing employee contact information across different teams. During an internal system upgrade, we asked employees to export their saved contacts and share them with the IT team in VCF format.

However, we received hundreds of individual VCF files from different employees. Some shared contacts exported from Outlook, while others provided files from Android phones, iPhones, and other contact management platforms.

Now, combining these files into one centralized contact directory has become a challenge. Opening each file individually and copying contact information manually is taking too much time and we also want to avoid losing important details during the process.

While searching for an easier approach, we found WholeClear Merge vCard Software. It allows users to add multiple VCF files, preview contact information, and merge selected files into one consolidated VCF file. This seems useful for handling our initial contact consolidation without processing every file manually.

We plan to merge the collected files first, check the resulting contacts for duplicate entries and verify important information before importing everything into our company address book.

For IT professionals who have handled similar projects, what process do you recommend for managing duplicate contacts and maintaining accurate employee information during VCF file consolidation?
