clean install

hi after weeks of getting nowhere i am going to do a clean install tomorrow, do you think it is better to install vista (as win 7 is a upgrade) and then upgrade to win 7?

You can do a full clean install with the Windows 7 Upgrade disk with no problems.

DO NOT do an upgrade install over Vista, it will just cause problems for you.

hi ok i did a clean install with the win7 disk, the pc would not log off last night i switched it off and re booted today when it goes to the sign in part there was an admin box i hit that and thought i would try to install something, it worked! so it must be admin settings that are wrong?
i have not looged out yet so it could all be for nothing!
