Windows 7 won't be the same again without her! We'll miss her! Who
will buy our drugs without her?
I suspect you'll be on point with you hand out.

I'd rather have Windows 7.

You don't have Windows 7? Whose problem is that? But I see that you have
some kind of problem on a redirect.

whitney who?

I blame it on Bobby Brown. He was the one who turned her out. She
couldn't handle Bobby Brown, and he dragged her down to her death. But
it's not all his fault. She did it to herself too.

It's Obama's fault.

Are you forgetting about Pat Tillman? He may not have been a world
famous entertainer, but he was a pro football player.

If it weren't for the connections her aunt, Dionne Warwick, had in the
music world, Whitney would just be another junkie.
The ramblings of some loon.

Whitney Elizabeth Houston (August 9, 1963 – February 11, 2012) was an
American singer, actress, producer, and model. In 2009, the Guinness
World Records cited her as the most-awarded female act of all time.[3]
Her list of awards includes two Emmy Awards, six Grammy Awards, 30
Billboard Music Awards, 22 American Music Awards, among a total of 415
career awards as of 2010. Houston was also one of the world's
best-selling music artists, having sold over 170 million albums, singles
and videos worldwide.[4][5] Inspired by prominent soul singers in her
family, including her mother Cissy Houston, cousins Dionne Warwick and
Dee Dee Warwick, and her godmother Aretha Franklin, Houston began
singing with New Jersey church's junior gospel choir at age 11.[6] After
she began performing alongside her mother in night clubs in the New York
City area, she was discovered by Arista Records label head Clive Davis.
Houston released seven studio albums and three movie soundtrack albums,
all of which have diamond, multi-platinum, platinum or gold certification.

Certainly possible but, I suspect her sudden fame is what lead to the
fast downfall. She had one hell of a voice until she did herself in. I
remember watching that Super Bowel she sang at. Even watching it in some
bar before the days of fancy sound, she was amazing. I don't remember
anyone being able to sing that song and make it sound good, very
difficult song. Some people can handle the sudden influx of fame and
money, some sadly can't. She of course has only herself to blame, she
made her choices. Still very sad to see what she did to herself.

"Tillman turned down a three-year, $3.6 million contract with the
Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League to enlist in the Army
in May 2002 in the wake of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, which
killed about 3,000 people in New York, Washington and Pennsylvania.

“My great grandfather was at Pearl Harbor, and a lot of my family has
.... gone and fought in wars, and I really haven’t done a damn thing as
far as laying myself on the line like that,” Tillman told NBC News in an
interview the day after the attacks.

Tillman had played four seasons with the Cardinals, winning league-wide
respect as a smart and hard-hitting, if somewhat small and slow,
defensive safety before he enlisted with his younger brother Kevin.

Like I said, if it weren't for her relatives' connections she would just
be another junkie who could sing. The world is full of MILLIONS of good
singers that never make it because they don't have the connections
Whitney had.

She wasn't a junkie before she met Bobby Brown. She wasn't a junkie
when she sang in the church choir. Nice to see that you have
something to add to this thread though.
