Change screen resolution. Your programs windows might open outside your current view. If you have video card menu in the taskbar try to disable the second display (TV).
I had native resolution from the start, before and after installing the latest nVidia driver. I now solved my problem... reformat and reinstall Win 7. Works now. Done.
To pin programs to the taskbar, navigate to a directory which you want to add a shortcut to, such as C:\Program Files\DVDMaker\DVDmaker.exe. Right-click on the executable and choose pin to taskbar.
