Looking for a PAYG Dongle for intermittent access when BT Hotspots not

I bought a Vodafone dongle years ago for about £25 when I was very
mobile. It always worked. I never found anywhere that it didn't work.

Do _any_ of the providers do non-expiring credits? I'd like to have
mobile for the rare occasions when I have no alternative, but it really
p*s me off that I can't buy some and use it when I want, because it'll
have expired.

Yeah, isn't that a big ripoff? I've never seen a good explanation from
them how they justify it. I would think just using the funds without
interest should be plenty of compensation for them. I'm surprised they
are able to get away with it without any government scrutiny of that
practice.
