Are there a separate "Start Menus" for the current user in W7?

Hi All,

In XP, there are two "start menus". One for the current
user and one for "all users".

Under Windows 7, there is a "start menu" under
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu

This seems to be the "all users" menu. Is there a
separate "start menu" for the current user? (Programs
installed with "only current user" option checked.)

Or, did W7 do away with this?

Many thanks,

The easiest way to get there is to click the start orb, then right
click "All programs", and click "Open".

Once you're there you can see where you are.

That is where I got the

C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu

from. It looks like it is an All Users menu. Is
there a separate location for the current user?

Figured it out! It is in:

%userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs

When I follow Gene's directions, I see 'Open' at the top of the right-click
menu, and 'Open All Users' at the bottom. The 'Open All Users' results in
the path you showed.

When I select 'Open', I go to
C:\Users\MyUserName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu

When I opened mine, I only got an "Open". I was using W7 pro x32
on an NT Domain Controller. The user came from the domain and was
mapped to the local Administrator's group. This may be why I am
seeing something different than you.

I eventually did find it in
%userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu

Thank you for the help!
