Windows 7 Wont recognize my microphone :(

Im using Realtek ac'97 soundcard, motherboard : Abit - AV8 (VIA K8T800P-8237)
i downloaded loads of drivers.. tried to plug 3 microphones and none of them are working.. any suggestions? thanks.

Have you got the latest drivers from Realtek? You can download them from the following URL : http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/

The latest Windows 7 version appears to be 6305 as of today.

I had to right-click on the Sound window, as you have shown, the check the box: Show Disabled Devices and choose "Stereo Mix" and then enable it. Then recording worked.

The icon for "Stereo Mix" looks like a PCI sound card.

You have 3 Mics/Input devices you need to tie the jacks together rather than having separating them all.
