Windows 7 stops at Welcome

When I boot my laptop in the morning sometimes it sticks at the Welcome screen. I shut down using the off switch and reboot normally and it loads fine. What could it be? Thank you.

You can take out the battery from your laptop and then remount it back. Then, check the results. If the problem persist, I think you can go through http://www.laptoprepair101.com/laptop-turns-on-and-shuts-down/

It could be several things so I'll suggest a couple things to check...

Make sure you have the latest BIOS installed for your computer.

Use S.M.A.R.T. to check your hard drive for errors (see How-to-Geek article)
