SOLVED Windows 7 installation won't start

So I'm trying to do a clean install of Windows 7. I boot from the installation DVD, the "Windows is loading files..." progress bar finishes, and the I get the "Starting Windows" screen, and it stops there. I've let it sit for over a half hour, and nothing more happens. This is the original installation media, not a copy or a downloaded package.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Is the disk dirty or scratched? other wise try an iso.

The problem was a motherboard issue. Scrapped it.
