Why is Bluetooth Such a pain in the A@#

Simply put, im trying to pair this Noise Hush N700m with my Toshiba satellite p505-s8980, i picked this up for next to nothing from a friend of mine, and i have had my jawbone paired to it, but this mono headset simply cannot make the connection

check whether you have correctly installed the driver for the Bluetooth, some laptops auto configure external devices but for most, you need to install the correct driver.
