Hello,. first thanks for sll the past help, you guys rock! OK, I am a noob when it comes to PCI-E, Ibought a
Creative Sound Blaster Recon3D THX PCIE Sound Card SB1350 and my MOBO has

  1. 1 x PCI Express x16 slot, running at x16 (PCIEX16) (All PCI Express slots conform to PCI Express 2.0 standard.)
  2. 1 x PCI Express x1 slot
I use On-board video (ATI Radeon HD 4250) which is ok because I run legacy games which my system passes requirements for those games. Back to the subject, which slot would be best for my new sound card? TIA!!

Bassfisher is correct. Just FYI the PCI x16 is normally for a video card.

Thanks guy. I got it today and alas even though EAX was available for BFV it wasn't fully functional. On the + side I can use the THX and Dolby features!
