My friend has windows 7 and ventrilo. Since upgrading to windows 7, the sound that comes out of her mic is very muffled. What should her settings be at in order to correct this problem? Everyone she asks can't seem to figure an answer.
She should check her Sound Options from the lower right corner.
1. Right click on the volume icon from the lower right corner.
2. Click on 'Recording devices'
3. Click on 'Microphone' and then 'Properties' button
4. Click on 'Levels' and adjust it.
